Cup Cake Creation

Hello Everyone

Today's project is rather appropriate to share as I will be eating cake today with my lovely team. We are called the Dazzling Dreamers, and today we have an all day get together featuring crafting and cake!

This card was made using the stamp set Sprinkles of Life. It co-ordinates with a punch making the whole process of cutting out those iced tops really easy!

The bunting is a piece of designer paper from a mini 6"X6" stack called Cherry on Top.

I punched out the cherry and used Crystal Effects to make it glossy and looking good enough to eat.

A Happy Accident

Hello Everyone

Today I am sharing a project I started at a team training event with my upline Amanda back in the summer.

One of my lovely downline, Nina, was poorly so I offered to make all her projects for her. Well this was an all day training and Amanda really packs those projects in! Tracey, another of my downline, helped me, but although I got all Nina's projects made, some of mine came home only half completed.

Now this happy accident meant that I could convert this beautiful gift box design and cover it with Christmas trees.

I used the Scentsational Season tree and star stamps, coloured just a few of the baubles with a Real Red marker and then topped them with Crystal Effects for a glossy finish. I love how this looks. The other trees are cut using the Holiday Collection Framelits tree die, using some of the Festival of Prints DSP stack.

Sometimes projects are just ment to be - thanks to Amanda, Nina and Tracey for this one!

Birthday Owl

Hello Everyone

Today I am sharing a cute birthday card that we made during our December classes. We used a top note background and the Owl punch to make the sweet birthday owl.

The stamps come from Party this Way and Funky Four - the wings of the owl are made using the Boho Blossoms punch and the leaves made using the Little Leaves die.

I did the eyes in advance because I wanted to use Crystal Effects and it takes a little while to dry when you use a blob to make the 3D eyes. Now we have the Multipurpose adhesive sheets, I could make them all up on the adhesive sheet, so they could easily be stuck on during the class.

This card was inspired by the one I made for my niece Phoebe on her second birthday, so I though I would show you her card too....

Hope you like my cute little owl cards :)

Laquered Lanterns

Hello Everyone

I mentioned the other day that I usually do my favourite stamp set Kimono Kids in reds and blacks and thought today I would share one of those cards with you.

For this card I started by stamping the base card with little flowers from the Confetti background stamp set. They really echo the flowers on the Kimono Kids outfits don't they?

Next I stamped my little Japanese girls in stazon and then coloured them using markers. I used the In Colors of Peach Parfait, Pear Pizzazz and Poppy Parade. The laterns were done in the same way. They are fairly easy to cut out - and fairly easy to cut off the tassles by mistake too! I speak from experience! LOL

I used Crystal Effects to give a laquered effect to the lanterns and fans.

Hope you like!

How cute are these?

Hello Everyone

Today I am sharing such a cute project. These handbags, (purses for those reading in the U.S.), are from a template by Becki Roberts. I have made some changes including the tab closures with a bit of bling in the form of a diamonte brad.

They are made in Bashful Blue cardstock, with the images, from Greenhouse Garden, stamped in Baja Breeze. The sentiment is from Perfect Punches and attached to the bags with Early Espresso ribbon.

I haven't got any co-ordinating buttons for this project, so I made some with punched circles of Baja Breeze cardstock, coated in Crystal Effects.

I love my handbags - hope you do too!
