Splendid Thoughts Card

Hello and welcome to Elizabeth's Craft Room

The Splendid Thoughts stamps and co-ordinating dies are another bundle which is retiring from the Stampin’ Up! offering - but it is retiring so while stocks last!

In class this month we made a card that featured water colouring using our re-inkers. My lovely ladies had the opportunity to either create a colour wash over the leaf images or paint each leaf individually.

Which technique would you have chosen to use?

Here is the second card we made at class this month using the fabulous Textured Chic goodies. The designer papers are just stunning and the stamps have images for all year round with shells, flowers, leaves and snowflakes.

I think this was my favourite card - we made the shells look really 3D by curling them and popping them up.

If you would like to come along and join one of our fun card making groups, I have a special offer for you.

A Man Card - using Vintage Tools Stamps from Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to Elizabeth's Craft Room

I have had some requests for 'man cards' at class recently and I am always happy to oblige!

For this card we started by embossing the background to give some texture. Then we used some strips of torn He's The Man designer paper top and bottom.

We stamped the tools using the Vintage Tools stamps - the photo doesn't do justice to the detail that comes out on these stamps from the grain in the wood to the 'shine' on the metal.

This is one of the projects we made this month. We used the Pool Party and Soft Sea Foam Cards & Envelopes (a freebie with purchase during Sale-A-Bration), and created these fun cards using the Potted Geraniums bundle. We loved the two step stamping flower pots that look so 3D!

We are making another card using this bundle next month - let me know if you would like to join us.

Slimline Card - In the Moment

Perfect Little Gift Box

Hello and welcome to Elizabeth's Craft Room

At class this month we made this really sweet gift box. It is big enough to hold a gift card but we decided it would be perfect to give some holiday money too.

We used the Oceanfront and Paradise Palms stamps to create the scene.
