Beautiful Moments with Watercolour Pencils

High Tide Silhouette with Watercolour Wash

Hello and welcome to Elizabeth's Craft Room ,

Today's card was inspired by one by my team member Sara Harnett, who did a beautiful hand watercolored background.

I took the cheat's way and used the Watercolour Wash background inked up with Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Real Red.

After I stamped the lighthouse image in Basic Black, I used black and grey Watercolour Pencils and an Aqua Painter to add more dark colour to the lighthouse and get a true silhouette effect.

Mediterranean Moments Cafe Card

Hello and welcome to Elizabeth's Craft Room ,

Today's card is made with the Mediterranean Moments stamp set. I stamped the largest image in Crumb Cake ink on the background layer and sponged the edges.

I then stamped the cafe image in Grey Archival Ink and coloured with the Stampin' Up! Watercolour Pencils. I used an Aqua Painter to blend and achieve a subtle washed look. I hope you like the effect.

Upcoming Beautiful You Special Class

Hello and welcome to Elizabeth's Craft Room ,

This shows some of the creations you can make at my upcoming special class called 'Beautiful You'. It is designed to show you how to work both inside and outside the lines using a mixture of colouring media, papers, cardstock and to show how to turn cards into a home decor piece if you wish.

It will be a relaxed class, where you can work at your own pace, learning different techniques with watercoloring and using a range of stamps - although focussed on our Beautiful You stamp set.

The class costs £28 and includes £22 worth of Stampin' Up! goodies, including the NEW Watercolour Pencils in Stampin' Up! colours and an exclusive storage case big enough to hold an aqua painter and blender pen if you wish. You may also choose to add a frame as an optional extra. Ask me for more details.

Classes are held in my Elizabeth's Craft Room Studio in Rownhams, Southampton and are running on Tuesday 24th January 7pm, Wednesday 25th January 10am and Thursday 26th January 10am - booking essential and the closing date for bookings is 12th January.  Let me know if you'd like to come along.
