Inside the Lines with Stampin' Markers

Hello and welcome to Elizabeth's Craft Room ,

Today's card shows the power of restraint! LOL

I am a more is more girl so actually leaving some white space is tough for me - but here I wanted to pretty image to shine though and not be overwhelmed by too much colouring in! I used the Inside the Lines FREE designer paper and used markers to colour just some for the flowers. The stamps come from Birthday Bright apart from the lace which is stamped with Delicate Details another free Sale-A-Bration choice. (Just a week to go now!)

So do you like the less is more look - or do you think I should have coloured the lot? :)

VIDEO Inside the Lines - with Aqua Painter and Blender Pen

Today's video features the Inside the Lines DSP - which you can receive FREE during Sale-A-Bration. I show how to simply watercolour with inks to get a great card front.

Here is a little secret especially for my blog readers - when I was filming this I actually thought at one stage - no this is rubbish - I'm going to have to start again! But I carried on and once I had finished I actually loved the effect. So don't be too quick to judge your results - we are often our own worst critics.

And I worked out you could make 96 cards like this with just one pack of this paper - or make large home decor projects to give as gifts.

Curvy Keepsake Box with Delicate Details

Today we have a quick project made with the Curvy Keepsake die and Falling In Love designer series paper. This is very similar to the project I made with the Gift Bag Punch Board, in that it uses the same paper and stamp sets.

The lace is stamped using the Delicate Details stamps, which you can receive FREE during Sale-A-Bration - and the bee image comes from the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set.

Dragonfly Gift Bag

Hello and welcome to Elizabeth's Craft Room ,

Today's project was made using the Gift Bag Punch Board from Stampin' Up! I used some of the beautiful Falling in Love Designer Series Paper from the Spring/Summer catalogue as a base and then stamped it using the Dragonfly Dreams stamps.

The lace look is stamped using a stamp set called Delicate Details which you can receive free with a Sale-A-Bration order.

I finished the project with a die cut Detailed Dragonfly and covered a peg with Glimmer Paper too.
