Dragonflies in Copper

Hello and welcome to Elizabeth's Craft Room ,

This is a card we made at class earlier in the year and I realised I hadn't shared it on my blog. It looks more involved than it is to make.

We first copper heat embossed the dots from the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set and stamped the sentiment from the same set at the bottom.

We cut the largest circle from the Stitched Shaped Framelits and sponged with Soft Suede and Bermuda Bay ink. We then die cut the dragonflies and adhered them with tombow glue.

Pink Dragonfly Dreams Cards

Hello and welcome to Elizabeth's Craft Room ,

Today's cards are two more featuring Dragonfly Dreams - and yes I make no apology - I just love those stamps and Detailed Dragonfly dies!

On both I used papers from the stunning Falling In Love designer series paper. The top one I cut the largest dragonfly in Gold Glimmer Paper, the bottom one I used Vellum Cardstock for the medium dragonfly and Sahara Sand cardstock for the little ones.

I had coloured the body on the vellum one with a marker and gently daubed the wings with Blushing Bride ink. I finished the cards with sequins and pearls respectively.

Detailed Dragonfly - simple but effective card

Hello and welcome to Elizabeth's Craft Room ,

Such a simple card today - but I love it. I cut two lots of the group of dragonflies using the Detailed Dragonfly dies and using tombow glue adhered them to a base layer in the same Very Vanilla cardstock.

I then cut the largest dragonfly in Silver Foil and attached that on top. A sentiment from the matching stamp set Dragonfly Dreams and I was done. Simple but effective.

Detailed Dragonfly Notebook

Hello and welcome to Elizabeth's Craft Room ,

Today's project is a quick notebook cover which I made for little Christmas gifts. It is quite a subtle look, but I love the die cut Detailed Dragonfly element adhered to the Thick White cardstock base. The little note stamp comes from the Lift Me Up stamp set and I made a belly band from Basic Black cardstock and Gold 1/8" ribbon to keep the book closed.
