Dressing up for a Wedding

Hello Everyone

Today's project is a Dress Up die wedding card. I stamped the bodice with the Gossamer Lace stamp - see how on my previous video!

The skirt is made with 9 Vanilla Flower Trim flowers and the greeting comes from Petite Pairs.

The Oval dies are in our Spring/Summer Stampin' Up! catalogue. I stamped the Crumb Cake background with a stamp from Creative Elements.

Hope you like it and I am back with two super-fun projects on Sunday.

Oh, Hello Valentine!

Hello Everyone

This Valentine's card is made from the back of the card from the Happy Hello Simply Sent kit. This kit is one of the choices during Sale A Bration. I used the card front to make another project and used the back to create this project - 2 cards for 1!

First I used the fabby new Ovals Collection Framelits dies to cut an oval in the white card and then cut a smaller oval from the offcut.

I stamped the oval and the chevrons using images from the Oh, Hello! stamp set from the Spring/Summer catalogue. I stamped the white outer area using the flourish from Creative Elements.

The tickets are from the stamp set That's the Ticket, also in the Spring/Summer catalogue. I punched out with the matching Ticket Builder punch and finished with Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding ribbon and Basic Pearls.

Happy Valentines day for next week to all my blog readers!

Wonderful Wisteria!

Hello Everyone

You may have noticed that I love Wisteria Wonder. Today I am sharing some cards using this fabulous In Color.

This first card features the Speciality Designer Paper, Sweet Shop - there is a texture to those white dots - hard to tell on the picture I know.

The images here come from Creative Elements and Everything Eleanor - two stamp sets that work SO well together. I heat embossed the flower with silver embossing powder to add some extra texture.

Something similar here - again I have used Creative Elements. This time I used the flower image as a background on the card base.

Now we come to my favourite of the trio - and this one has some extra bling. It took a little longer - I coloured in some of the backgound with a marker and added tiny pearls here and there. I also built up the flower by stamping three times and cutting and layering with dimensionals.

So do you agree? Or do you prefer one of the other choices?

Spring Mini Trio

Hello Everyone

Today I am sharing three cards with a similar theme, all featuring stamps from the Spring Mini Stampin' Up! Catalogue. (Click the Catalogues tab at the top of this blog to see it for yourself).

This first one we made at team training - do you like the torn fabric ribbon? The background stamp set is Paisley Petals and the beautiful peacock comes from Proud Peacock.

The next card once again uses Paisley Petals, this time for both the background and the foreground. The foreground images are coloured using the rock n roll technique. I added a neutrals button and some Linen Thread for added texture.

The third of this trio I used the Creative Elements stamp set. I do love this set - I hope you do too.

So which is your favourite?

Butterfly Box

Hello Everyone

Another February class project today. We made a cute little gift box with a butterfly on top. The beautiful designer series paper that makes the lid is Everyday Enchantment which is one of the choices that you can recieve for FREE with a qualifying order during Sale A Bration. (Let me know if you would like some!)

The stamping is all done using the Creative Elements stamp set - I just LOVE these stamps.
I did the butterfly using the marker to stamp technique - and do you notice the Postage Stamp punch under the butterfly.
