Hello Everyone
In the Spring/Summer catalogue from Stampin' Up! (which finishes on the last day of June), we have some beautiful 1 1/4" wide striped grosgrain ribbon. I thought I would share a couple of projects using this stunning ribbon today.
The first is a simple card using an Antique Brad and the Lovely Romance stamp set. I embossed the card with one of the narrow Adorning Accents embossing folders.
The second project is packaging for a special gift. I simply pleated the ribbon in my fingers and secured with a staple. Then I tied a tag around with Bakers Twine. The tag is cut with the Chalk Talk framelits and stamped a greeting with the the matching stamp set.
So if you bought any of this lovely ribbon - or have some from one of our previous offerings, I hope that has inspired you to get it out and play.

Very Vintage Revisited
Hello Everyone
Last Saturday I shared a project using the Very Vintage wheel as a background. This week it takes centre stage as a panel on this card.
I stamped it in Night of Navy on Wisteria Wonder cardstock and layered with a Night of Navy Panel.
I stamped the butterflies from Papillion Potpourri one on the Wisteria, three with Navy direct on the card and then three with Wisteria Wonder ink on to white card. I punched them out and layered with dimensionals.
The tag is punched using Chalk Talk - which is also where the greeting comes from and I finished with Stitched Ribbon and Bakers Twine.

Team Gifts - in a Muslin Bag.
Hello Everyone
I was just about to post and noticed this photo. I realised I meant to share these goodies with you when I returned from Stampin' Up! Convention in November - but somehow they got missed. So just ahead of Sale A Bration 2014 - which starts next Tuesday, I thought I would sneak them in.
These are the team gifts I made for my team who came with me to convention. We are called the Dazzling Dreamers - so everyone has to have something dazzling, and this year it was a sparkly flower pin. It went in the tissue paper and washi tape bag, which is stamped with the Lovely Romance stamp set.
I made bag tags from wood mount blocks. I had de-mounted a couple of stamp sets this year so just had enough to go around. My FIL drilled holes for the metal rings and I made name labels on MDS.
All those goodies went inside the Muslin bag which was stamped using the Travel Journal wheel and Creative elements flourish. I used Natural Trim ribbon around the bag and the label comes from Chalk Talk. The glow sticks were one of my swaps.
I hope you like them :)

VIDEO Christmas Pudding Tag
Hello Everyone
Today's video is a re-make of a tag I taught in class several years ago...I hope you enjoy it.
Only a few weeks to go - is all your Christmas crafting underway? (I can hear you laughing!)

Perfect Packaging
Hello Everyone
Today I am sharing two ideas for using the Tag a Bag gift Bags from Stampin' Up! As you may know I LOVE the gift boxes, (also on page 158 of the big catalogue), but I had some questions about how to use the bags - and here is what I came up with...
The first idea is actually to snip off the bottom of the bag, snip up in four corners, fold in and create a bag that stands up. I have decorated with the lovely Chalk Talk stamp set cut with the matching framelits.
My second project is my favourite. By simply placing the paper bag inside one of our large cello bags, you get a luxury look! Again I finished with a Chalk Talk label, Natural Trim Ribbon and Linen Thread.
There are lots of other ways of using these cute bags - will you be adding them to your wish list? :)

Embossed Gift Card Holder
Hello Everyone
Today's project is a beautiful embossed gift card holder I taught in class this month. It is a simple design, but made lovely with the Alphabet Press embossing folder and colour combination of Soft Brown Sugar and Coastal Cabana. (If you look closely you will see my sampler is embossed upside-down - I knew to teach how to do it the right way up for my class ladies LOL).
We used a Chalk Talk tag on the outside, and secured with the lovely Coastal Cabana elastic ribbon. Inside we used a quarter of a Tag a Bag gift bag to make a cute gift card holder. I decorated with Around the World stamps - but gave the ladies the option of going for flowers if they wished.
If you are local to Southampton, England and would like to come to one of my classes, just contact me, we would love to welcome you along.

Six Sided Strawberry Slush!
Hello Everyone
Today's project features another of our new money-saving bundles from Stampin' Up! This time I am using the Six Sided Sampler stamp set and matching Hexagon punch.
Having the punch makes this faux quilt card super-quick.
I stamped the hexagon images on very vanilla and then punched out. I assembled them on a vanilla cardstock layer covered with tombow adhesive and then simply trimmed the edges off. Next I stamped the greetings - which are also in the Six Sided Sampler set.
I then ran the layer through my Big Shot using the Honeycomb Embossing Folder before adhering to a square of Smoky Slate and then on to the Strawberry Slush card.
The tag on the side is made with the Chalk Talk tags and framelits and I finished with some lovely Strawberry Slush ribbon. Good enough to eat! :)

Gorgeous Grunge Post Card
Hello Everyone
Now after a very girly grunge card on Tuesday's video, I decided to share something not quite so feminine!
This one is uses not only the Gorgeous Grunge in Island Indigo, Smoky Slate and Coastal Cabana Ink, but also the Post Card stamp. I stamped it on Very Vanilla cardstock and then daubed the edges with Crumb Cake ink to give a vintage look.
The tag is from Chalk Talk, and comes bundled with the matching framelit, which I used to cut out the backing layer. I used the stamp from the Postage Due, punched out and daubed freely! LOL
I am really loving my Gorgeous Grunge stamps - have you got yours yet?
