Betsy's Blossom Thank You

Hello Everyone

Today I am sharing a little thank you card. I make a batch of these to say thank you to everyone who places an order with me. Recently I asked if people would prefer different sentiments as I always put a post it note inside so they can use the card again.

They said they would prefer other greetings, but these and the next batch were already done as thank yous!

I used the Betsy's Blossoms stamp set here. I chose Midnight Muse ink, to match the cardstock and Gumball Green for the leaves.

And here is another batch…this time in Primrose Petals and Gumball Green.

Back on Tuesday with another tutorial video.

All About Betsy

Hello Everyone

Today is another combination of Betsy's Blossoms and the Apothecary Accents Framelits. I love the way you can use the same stamps and accessories and create such different looking projects.

Here I have stamped Betsy's flower and punched it out with the Blossom punch.  (I don't know who Betsy is - but perhaps she should be me - after all the Elizabeth stamp has retired - I could be Betsy...LOL)

I inked the edges of the flower and added a Basic Rhinestone. The background was done with the Betsy's Blooms Wheel. I used Raspberry Ripple ink on the Primrose Petal carstock. The leaf image also belongs to Betsy - and the sentiment is from Perfect Punches.

I punched Gumball Green cardstock out using the Apothecary Accent die - love how all those colours go so well together.

Well back soon with more - I think time for something festive on the next post!

Betsy's Bird

Hello Everyone

Another couple of Betsy's Blossoms cards today. This stamp set is so beautiful to use. Did you know Stampin' Up! have updated their ink pads to give even better ink coverage with just a couple of taps of the stamp? These new in colours are the ones I have in the new design and it certainly makes getting that beautiful crisp image even easier than before.

I thought I would do a matching tag to go with this card...

...this time I used the Bird Punch to create the bird and punched out the wing image. The greeting comes from Teeny Tiny Wishes and I used a snip of the new 1/4" Stitched Grossgrain Ribbon tied with some Linen Thread to finish the project.

Back with more from our new catalogues soon.

Layered Labels & Apothecary Accents

Hello Everyone

Another big favourite of mine from the new catalogue is the co-ordinating set of Layered Labels stamps and Apothecary Accents Framelits. They work together to cut out the stamped images - but layer beautifully as in the example below.

The stamps have their own sentiments, 'For You', 'Congratulations', 'Heartfelt' & 'Create', but equally these can be layered with other sentiments or images to build your own design. For example the 'Create' wording goes in the middle of the tangerine image, but I covered that with a punched flower, (from Betsy's Blossoms), and stamped again and punched out for the circle on the bottom right.

I have more to show using these fabby goodies - so pop back in a couple of days for more.

Stampin' Up! Excitement in the UK!

Hello Everyone

Yay! It's the most exciting day of the Stampin' Up! year here in the UK - the arrival of the BIG NEW STAMPIN' UP! ANNUAL CATALOGUE!

Am I shouting? Well maybe - because we have a lot to shout about. Our new catalogue is close to half as big again the 2011-12 catalogue. We have never brought so many new and exciting crafting supplies to the UK and Europe.

To see the new catalogue right now - click here and you can see the online version. Or why not contact me for your own copy?

If you are coming to one of my Open House Launch Events over the next few days, I will have lots of lovely projects to show you (and home baked cake too), but if not, contact me to book a party soon.

So what do I love from the new Catalogue -----hmmmm! I think that would be EVERYTHING!!! Yes Elizabeth is over excited again. But I need to start somewhere - so how abour our new In Colours.... the stamps are from a sweet set called Betsy's Blossoms....

....the new in colours are shown on the flags; from left to right we have Midnight Muse, Primrose Pink, Gumball Green, Summer Starfruit and Raspberry Ripple. Now Raspberry Ripple is my favourite - loving the rich deep red/pink - but they are all lovely.

OK - one more project, featuring Betsys Blossoms and new new In Colours....

Do you see that cute stitched ribbon too? I can't wait to share more of my new projects with you so I will be back in a couple of days with more.

Can I shout again? I LOVE STAMPIN' UP! :)
