Snowflake Cut Out

Hello Everyone

One of the things I love about the new Snow Flurry die from the Stampin' Up! Autumn/Winter catalogue is that nothing is wasted. I had cut out some sparkly red snowflakes from the Glimmer Paper, and realised that the leftover would make a fabulous card.

I attached the red Glimmer Paper to a white card and just added the greeting from Teeny Tiny Wishes and the white Bakers Twine and a snip of ribbon and my card was done.

I love it! Hope you like it too.

BLOG HOP ON FRIDAY!

Now do come back on Friday - I am taking part in a team blog hop and there will be lots of ideas and projects for you....

Greenhouse Garden Goodbye & Snowflake Hello!

Hello Everyone

Oh how I am going to miss Greenhouse Garden! I just love this stamp set so we said goodbye to it in style during our last project in August. It is a two-step stamp set and we stamped the coloured images in So Saffron and Pool Party with the second layers stamped in Soft Suede. I know most of you already have this beautiful stamp set - but if you still want to add it to your collection - let me know before it goes forever.

Now on to the Snowflake Ornament that I love the best! Here I cut all three layers with the Snow Flurry die. Aren't they pretty layered up?

I will be showing how to make these ornaments at upcoming workshops and they will all be displayed on my Christmas tree this year!

One more ornament from my display stand to show you on the next post....

In with the new....and out with the old!

Hello Everyone

More comings and goings today. We are saying goodbye today to another single stamp, Triple Treat Flower. We are also losing the Thanks sentiment from Thank You Kindly and the narrow grossgrain ribbon. Let me know if you would like to order any of these items before they go. :)

Here is the technique card we did during our August class - the Baby Wipe technique. We went for bright zingy colour.

Here is another example using the same technique. This one uses the Framelit Labels cut in Vellum Cardstock and embossed.

So now in with the new....would you like to learn to make some of these lovely Christmas decorations? I will be teaching them at a workshop near you soon. Just get yours booked and get ready to make hand made trimmings for your tree.

I will show you a close look in my next post. Back soon!
