Prize Draw Box

Hello Everyone

...

I did an event a while ago where I offered a prize draw. I needed a box for people to leave their entries - so of course I had to make one!

...

I used My Sweet Pea in Tempting Turquoise and Chocolate Chip and co-ordinated with the Sweet Pea paper stack papers.

It was a fun project to make and hopefully will be sturdy enough to last for a few events!
Back soon with more projects.

CASEd Birdhouse Card

Hello Everyone
...
Today's card is a CASE, (copy and share everything). I copied the birdhouse from a swap I received at a quarterly training event - but there was not name on the back! So if the original swap is yours, (scroll down - I have posted it), let me know and I will give you proper credit because you inspired me!
...
I changed it up by using the Sweet Pea paper stack to make the background, the Eyelet Border punch to make the roof and the sentiment is from Circle of Friendship.

...

So this is the original swap - did you make it? I'd love to give you proper credit!

...

...

Hope you are inspired too!

My Sweet Pea

Hello Everyone
...
It is hard for me to believe now - but when I first saw My Sweet Pea in the Stampin' Up! mini catalogue, I didn't really like it. Today I am sharing the card that changed my mind!
...
This card was made by the very talented Michelle Gattrell - and how cute is that toucan!

I love the way she used the Sweet Stitches wheel as a background and layered up the flowers.

...

So guess what the next set was I ordered? Yep - My Sweet Pea! Love it.

Scrapbook Layout

Hello Everyone
...
You may not know that I am a scrapbooker! I hardly ever find time to scrap - but it was my first love in crafting.
...
During my June holiday, I decided I was going to make the time, and it was so much fun to rediscover how much fun it is to scrap.
...
This is the first layout I did - it shows some pictures of our little holiday in Devon, (south west England). Our favourite restaurant there is the Oyster Shack - you can sit outside under a sail canopy and eat the freshest fish and shellfish I have ever tasted.

I made a punch art fish, crab and lifeguard rings. There are lots of pull out and open out features that hide more photos and journalling.

Sweet Pea Bookmarks

Hello Everyone
...
Today I am sharing the chipboard bookmarks which were the 3D project we made at my June classes.
...
I just LOVE those My Sweet Pea birdies - they look so cute. My ladies had a choice of design and sentiment, but we all used the pretty pink Sweet Pea designer paper and fabulous felt flowers from Stampin' Up!
...

...
I really think the My Sweet Pea bird looks great in bright colours, so we went with Pumpkin Pie, Pink Passion and Old Olive.

...
I've love to know what you think! Do leave me a message :)

My Sweet Pea Birdie Card

Hello Everyone

...

Can you believe that when I first saw the mini catalogue I didn't even want this stamp set? Of course as soon as I saw some samples from my fellow demos I fell in love with it and tempted that birdie into my craft room.
...
...
The name of the stamp set is My Sweet Pea and features the bird you see above as well as both types of flower. It also co-ordinates with the Sweet Stitches wheel which you can see used as the passion pink and tempting turquoise background. You can even get co-ordinating stitched felt flowers and some of the beautiful papers from the Sweet Pea paper stack also feature these images.
...
You will see a few more examples of this little bird appearing over the next few weeks, so pop back to visit him anytime! :)
...
Hope you like.
