I Love It When My Goodies Come Together!

Hello Everyone

One thing I love about Stampin' Up! is the co-ordination you get - with matching card stock, ink and accessories to stamps matching punches.

Here we have a classic example. In the Spring/Summer catalogue, we introduced the Mini Treat Bag Die and now with the arrival of the new big catalogue from Stampin' Up! we have a co-ordinating stamp set.

The Mini Treat Bag Die set comes with a banner, heart and star cutter (along with much more) and these shapes are reflected in the new stamps - how beautifully they go together.

The stamp set is called You're So Sweet and I have used it on each of the treat bag projects below. See how the star is outlined with a line and the word 'hello' (slightly obscured behind the ribbon on this photo) - and the 'just for you' sentiment is inlaid behind the frame on the spotty bag.

Vellum Lined Treat Bag

Hello Everyone

This project was something we made during my January classes. We used the Mini Treat Bag Thinlit dies and cut a bag out of Best Day Ever designer paper. We cut apetures in the front using the large star and rows of stars. We then lined the front of the treat bag with Vellum Cardstock before assembling. We finished the project with ribbon from the Best Day Ever collection and the greeting is cut from the same Thinlet set.

I am loving making these cute treat bags. They looked so good in class with all the different colour combinations.
