Another Fancy Flower

Hello Everyone

Today I am sharing another card made with the Fancy Flower punch, mixed Rich Razzleberry, Early Espresso, Pink Pirouette with So Saffron leaves made with the Two Step Bird punch.

The background is stamped with the swirly leaf image from Vintage Vogue and the flowers are stamped with the Flower Accent, Fresh Cuts and Flower for You, (which is the one that matches the Fancy Flower punch.

Pretty Gift Box

Hello Everyone

At Stampin' Up! convention my lovely upline Amanda achieved a whole heap of top awards, but the one she was really proud of was the Heart of Stampin' Up! award. The Heart of Stampin’ Up! award recognises demonstrators from the EU who truly exemplify Stampin’ Up!’s Statement of the Heart as they make a difference in people’s lives. The award winner is chosen by Stampin' Up! CEO Shelli based on nominations sent in prior to convention.


We were all proud of her, so after convention we sent her flowers and chocolates and then secretly bought a special Pandora bead for her braclet which we presented to her at our quarterly team training.

I made a box for the bead a while ago and now that Amanda has recieved it, I can share the pictures with you.

I used so many stamps for this project, I am not sure I can list them all. I see I used Greenhouse Garden in Soft Suede and Crumb Cake on the box. The top layer is done with Fresh Cuts and Just Believe in Baja Breeze and Marina Mist. The butterfly is a single stamp called All A Flutter and I stamped it in Stazon and coloured in using markers. Don't the little pearls looks sweet?

I also made a little holder for the bead, which we didn't use in the end, (the bead came in sweet Pandora packaging), but I thought I would show you what I made here:

I stamped the tissue paper and created a closure with the butterfly stamped on Window Sheet and a diamonte brad to hold it closed.

Because I never know when to stop, I also stamped the inside of the box...

The interior is stamped with the Ornate Bloom stamp, using the rock n roll technique to add a variation in colour. I also had fun creating the belly band closure, with lots of stamping and daubing and finishing with the Marina Mist 1/4" taffetta ribbon.

Butterfly Thank You Cards

Today I am sharing some thank you cards I made for my lovely friends and customers. I always send a thank you card with every order - and these were the ones I made for July deliveries.
...
The sentiment and background of these cards is the lovely Fresh Cuts stamp, done in Rich Razzleberry ink. I then overstamped with a mini butterfly in the same colour and then highlighted the dots with a white gel pen.


The butterflies are from Flight of the Butterfly, stamped and punched using the co-ordinating butterfly punch. Finally the sentiment was punched using the word window.

Fresh Cuts Colour

Today I am sharing a pretty spring-like project made with the 'Fresh Cuts' stamp set from Stampin' Up!

...

I often use this main stamp as a background in a pale colour, or as a dramatic monochrome effect, but here I have used it to create a pretty, soft effect.

...

It is stamped in Mellow Moss and coloured using inks with an aqua painter and blender pen.

I also stamped the tape with the little clover image and the delicate flower in Regal Rose. Even the 'for you' sentiment comes from the same stamp set - simply punched using the Word Window punch.

Hello Everyone

Well my cold has gone - but after a busy week full of meetings and classes my voice has disappeared. I can only whisper and it SO sounds as though I am putting it on! It has been like this since Wednesday evening, so I am trying to stay quiet and hope I can be heard on the phone by Monday :D

So a few projects - firstly this is what we made at my March classes...

They were fun projects to make although when I was cutting out all those fence panels for four classes I did wonder if I had given myself a hard task! The basket is a scaled-down version of my butterfly basket from last year.

...

The next card is done using the babywipe technique, with reinkers dripped on to a babywipe and then stamped using the Pick a Petal stamp set from Stampin' Up! Everyone did such a great job with this project and the finished cards were all so different in layout - I wish I had photograped them all to show you. That is something I love about crafting.



My next card was made for a lovely couple we know who recently became engaged. I used the champagne glasses from the Cheers to You stamp set and coloured them with versamark before topping with Dazzling Diamonds.

They are layered up using the stunning Bride designer paper and finished with a white satin ribbon. I am very pleased with how this card came out.

I have had a request by one of my lovely class ladies for next month. She wants a good card for a man - and I am very man card challenged! So if you have a good one on your blog - leave me a message I will come and get some inspiration. You could be famous around here next month!
