Everything Eleanor 1 of 3

Hello Everyone

Over my next three posts, I will be featuring three very different cards made with the Everything Eleanor stamp set. This set is one of the favourites of my Stampin' Up! upline Amanda - and now it is one of mine!

This design is one of hers - we made it at team training.

I love the bright colours and I added a few pearls when I got home, (honestly Amanda - I didn't use up all your pearls! LOL)

We cut the little butterflies using the Beautiful Wings Embosslits die.

The greeting is from a set called Curvy Verses and the card is finished with white taffeta ribbon. I will be back soon with the second card in this series.

Forever Young in Island Indigo

Hello Everyone

As promised, I am back with a project made using the beautiful Forever Young stamp set. I chose to use the Island Indigo ink and cardstock, one of our new In Colors for this year.

Within the stamp set you get the clock image, the frame, the two silhouettes and a beautiful tree with a girl on a swing.

I used a punched portion of the tree and swing stamp for this next card in the same colour way - you can see I also used the matching designer paper called Timeless Portrait - I love the way you can match everything with Stampin' Up! goodies. :)

If you look closely you will see that I used the punched out piece of this card in the one at the top - crafters never waste anything!

The greeting in this one is from Curvy Verses and the top one from Oval All.

Hope you like them.

A Card By Accident

Hello Everyone

A little break from Christmas projects today. I am going to share a card I made almost by accident while playing the the goodies from my new catalogue.

I bought Hopeful Thoughts and had been using the marker to stamp technique to see how the stem image looked in different colours. Then I started playing with my new scallop trim corner punch. I had seen a video from Stampin' Up! showing how you could make a little frame using a 2" square piece of card.

I grabbed a random piece of whisper white cardstock off my very messy desk, cut it with my trimmer and tried to create the frame. It worked beautifully, but when I turned the cardstock over, I realised I had just punched the piece I had previously stamped.

It actually looked so pretty that I made it the feature of this card.

I used lots more new toys! The Confetti background and Curly Cute are both clear mount stamps - which makes placement a breeze. No need for the stamp a ma jig here. And I got to use my wide oval punch too - just the right size for the Curvy Verses stamp.

The colours I used were Certainly Celery, Whisper White and Riding Hood Red.

Do you every have projects that happen by accident?
