Cheerful Treat

Hello Everyone

Today I am sharing several projects that feature our Cheerful Treat Designer Series Paper. This paper is exclusively available to our hostesses - but if you want it you need to be quick with your workshop booking - it will retire before our new catalogue comes out!

This bag is made simply with two pieces of 12X12" Whisper White cardstock, scored at 3" on three sides and pinched together at the top. I made faux eyelets with a 3/4" circle punch and the crop a dile. I think the white and Melon Mambo trim really set off this fabby paper.

I used the Party This Way stamp set with the next card. The greeting is layered on to a scalloped circle cut using the Perfect Pennants die. The little pennant at the bottom comes from the Pennant Parade Stamp Set.

My final project today uses more of the Pennant Parade stamps and the Petite Pennant Punch. I used Basic Rhinestones to add some bling.

So if you want to get your hands on this pretty paper - better get your workshop or virtual workshop booked! :)

Pirates on Parade

Hello Everyone

A quick post featuring the Beware Pirates stamp set - perfect for boys, girls and those of us who love Capt. Jack Sparrow. :)

We made this card at a recent workshop. First we stamped the Not Quite Navy card using the Sanded background stamp and daubed around the edge.

Next we tore a strip of Newsprint DSP, and daubed the edges with Crumb Cake ink to give an aged effect.

We stamped the pirate images on Very Vanilla cardstock and straight on to the designer paper. Next we punched and set the Jumbo eyelets using the crop a dile, and fed Black wide striped ribbon through, securing with a piece of black 1/8" taffeta ribbon.

I hope you like :)

A non-festive Project!

Hello Everyone

Time today for a non-festive project from me! I know I have been a bit Christmas project obsessed this month! I will be tired of it by December :)

This was something I made a while ago for a workshop. It is a card with a tear-off bookmark made using the Cutter Kit from Stampin' Up! The cutter, among other tools, includes a perforating tools which is ideal for this project - or creating reply slips on invitations etc.

The bookmarks both feature critters from the Fox and Friends set and I used the crop a dile to fix the large eyelets to the top of the bookmarks.

Back soon with more :)

Cupcake Tags

Hello Everyone
...
Today's post is from another special request - this time from lovely Michelle who wanted to see a cupcakes project at a recent workshop.

I used the lovely 'Crazy for Cupcakes' stamp set from Stampin' Up! The one I demonstrated is the pink tag which starts with a piece of Pretty in Pink cardstock measuring 4" X 2".

...

I first daubed around the edge of the cardstock with pretty in pink ink and then stamped the sentiment on the bottom.

...

Next I took a 1 & 3/4" strip of whisper white cardstock and stamped the image on the lower portion chocolate chip ink. I then threaded the strip through the 1 & 3/4 circle punch to create the arch shape. I daubed the edge with close to cocoa ink.

...

I coloured the image using pretty in pink, so saffron and creamy caramel ink and an aquapainter. After adhering using tombow glue, I punched a chocolate chip tab shape, using the round tab punch and used my crop a dile to set a jumbo eyelet.

...

I finished the project with regal rose grossgrain ribbon and the new chocolate satin ribbon.

...

Hope you and Michelle both like my cupcake tags.
