This is the final project from my June classes. I needed a simple card and decided to use this pretty layout using the tree image form Forest Friends.

The tree is coloured using the markers direct to marker technique, the 'For You' sentiment is stamped onto vellum cardstock, punched out using the word window punch and adhered using tombow. (LOVE that glue - it sticks everything and doesn't show even under vellum).

The base card is Blush Blossom. The yellow panels are designer paper and the pink ones are stamped using the flourish from the Framed with Love stamp set. Now look again and you will see my not-so-deliberate mistake! The top left panel was stuck on upside down and I didn't notice until I was photographing the card. LOL!

WOW!!! Thank you Elizabeth.. I learnt something new.. I didn't know that using tombow with vellum works so well. Lovely card, I LOVE the pink leaves on the tree x

Very cute! I like the layout. I don't think that matters for that image - it doesn't look upside down.
