Blossom Party Card - as promised!

Hello Everyone

I promised you a closer look at the card which prompted me to make a box to put it in! See my video from Tuesday to see how that went.

The card itself is made with the Naturals White cardstock and the DSP layers are cut with the Postage Stamp Punch. I used a retired 1 3/8" punch to cut the Calypso Coral square layers.

The flower is made with the Blossom Party Die - but this design would work really well with the new Spiral Flower Die that is in the Spring/Summer catalogue. I will be trying that soon.

The leaf is another die - the Little Leaves die - but you could also use the leaves from the Bird Punch if you have that one.

Hope you enjoyed a closer look at that card. Back on Tuesday with another video.

VIDEO - Square Envelope Box

Hello Everyone

Today I am sharing how to make a square envelope box with the fabulous Envelope Punch Board from  Stampin' Up!

EDITED TO ADD - there is currently a problem with the blogger/youtube interface, so you may not be able to play this video. (Thanks for the heads up lovely Elaine).

I have tried several fixes, including reposting the whole thing to no avail. I understand that YouTube are working on this and hopefully this should be resolved soon.

I will be back on Saturday with a picture of the card that matches this box.

Decorative Dots Flip Card

Hello Everyone

Today I am sharing a card I have been showing at parties during Sale A Bration. This card is a breeze to make using the Label Card Thinlets die, (also known by me as one of the flippy things).

The card is embellished using the Decorative Dots embossing folder - a free choice during Sale A Bration, and the die cut cork flower and thick bakers twine are from the Sweet Sorbet Accessory Kit - which is another choice.

Sale A Bration is almost over - and when it's gone it's gone - so make sure you place your final freebie order before 28th March!

Hello Everyone

Today's video is for a card that uses lots of banners - I hope you enjoy it.

So which did you prefer? The first spring-like one - or the more dramatic one?

Tape it with Grunge!

Hello Everyone

Today's card looks really zingy on my screen! The card colour is actually Pistashio Pudding, but I think the lighting here is bad today!

Anyway the washi tape images were stamped with Pistashio Pudding and Crisp Cantaloupe on to white cardstock and in Bermuda Bay onto Bermuda Bay cardstock and hand cut out. I then tore the ends for that washi tape look.

I stamped some Gorgeous Grunge in the background and used the flower from Petal Parade, (free during Sale A Bration), to finish.

I have done this card in lots of different colour ways and have loved them all. Hope you like it too.

Cute as Candy

Hello Everyone

Today I am sharing three little nugget boxes. The smaller ones are just two inches wide and are made using one of the fabulous new tag punches from Stampin' Up!

We have the Angled Tag Topper here and we also carry a Scallop Tag Topper and I have them both!

These were so easy to make. A little open box goes in the bottom and a 2" strip of DSP wraps around and is punched.

They are secured with the thick bakers twine available free in the Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack during Sale A Bration.

The middle nugget box was designed by my downline Leigh-Anne. All are made in the Sweet Sorbet DSP - also a freebie during Sale A Bration.

VIDEO Chalkboard Card - two ways.

Hello Everyone

You can have a laugh at my video today. DH was vacuuming while I was videoing!  I have done a basic version of the chalkboard or blackboard technique on the video and you can see a version that is a bit more 'prettied up' if you scroll down. (I thought you would all have had enough of listening to the hoover!)

So with this one, I did thinks a little different. Firstly I trimmed the card a little shorter, so I didn't have to worry about the background stamp being short.

I then used the Squares Framelits to cut the stand out, rather than the trimmer. This was a lot easier so if you have the framelits that is the way to go.

And finally I added a banner using the Banner Blast punch, available free during Sale A Bration.

Wonderful Watercolour

Hello Everyone

Today's two 3.5" square cards are made with the fabulous Watercolour Wonder Designer Series Paper from the new Spring/Summer catalogue from Stampin' Up!

This paper is stunning and here I have MADE myself cut into it - and it was tough believe me! :)

Here I simply used the Pansy Punch to cut two flowers from the DSP and layered it only Whisper White stamped with leaves. The leaves come from the Petal Parade stamp set which is a Sale A Bration freebie at the moment.

In this next one I just adhered a 3" square of the paper onto the card. I added a few sequins from the Gold Sequin Trim and the stamp comes from Hello lovely.

This gorgeous DSP comes from a whole suite of watercolour themed goodies in the Stampin' Up! Spring/Summer catalogue. There are pre-printed cards to stamp on and stamp sets that make you look like a watercolour expert - just have a peek. Click shop now to go and have a browse.
