Hearts a Flutter Farewell

Hello Everyone

Today I am sharing a card using the Hearts a Flutter framelits which are retiring - currently available at 50% discount along with a lot of other goodies.

**IMPORTANT - at the time I created these projects, all the items on the retirements list were available - but many have now sold out. Please go to my online store here to check for current availability. Note that some stamp sets not available in Clear Mount are still available in Wood Mount. ***

This card was a swap I received - I think from my lovely fellow demo Kerry Timms - I love her style.

Back on Tuesday with another video.

Pennant Birthday Card

Hello Everyone

Today I am sharing a birthday card made using the stunning Hostess Set designer paper called Cheerful Treat. I used the Petite Pennants Builder Punch to create the bright paper banner. The mini silver brads connect the pennants.

I used the Scallop Border Punch to create the bottom border and the greeting is from the stamp set Perfect Punches.

I think this makes a very pretty birthday card. Back soon with more projects.

Welcome Home House

Hello Everyone
...
My May classes featured a birdhouse, which you can find if you scroll down my blog. (The original design was inspired by a Stamp with Us! project). While I was making up my sample, I decided to make another version just for fun. Even though much of my stamping is for workshops and classes, sometimes I try to make time to make something just 'cause I want to - and this was one of those days!
...
I decided to make a brick house with a slate room - which would make a sweet Welcome to you New Home gift or a Welcome Home gift. You could put cookies or 'We Have Moved' cards inside.
...
First I used really rust cardstock to make the house. The bricks were done in ruby red, drawn in with a black marker. The front door and roof were done in basic grey and the windows - of course - were made with window sheet from Stampin' Up! I also 'hung' DSP paper curtains in the windows. The front door knob is a silver brad. Cuuuuute!
...

...

I made the roof by punching strips of grey cardstock using the scallop border punch. I daubed the edges in basic grey ink to add some dimension to my roof tiles.
...
I hope you like my 'just for me' project!

On a Pedestal

Hello Everyone
...
Today I am sharing another fabby swap. This one was made by another Inspirin' Inkin' team mate, Helen Marland. Hi Helen *waves*.
...
I don't own this stamp set, but looking at Helen's lovely creation I now want to!

The stamp set is called 'On a Pedestal' and Helen has used Sage Shadow, Whisper White and Chocolate Chip - a colour combination that works beautifully with this set.

Live Your Dream!

Hello Everyone
...

Today I am sharing a card made with the beautiful, beautiful 'Live Your Dream' stamp set. I recently received this stamp set and have fallen in love with it. It works perfectly with the marker to stamp technique. Here I have used Old Olive for the stems and Regal Rose and Rose Red for the flowers.

I stamped the background on Blush Blossom cardstock with Blush Blossom ink then added strips of Old Olive cardstock and a scalloped border in co-ordinating DSP.

...

I thought I would share the inside too. The frame comes from the new 'Framed with Love' stamp set from the mini catalogue.

Hope you like! :)
