Flirtatious Fabric Dress

Hello Everyone

Today I am sharing a pretty little card made with the Flirtatious Fabric from Stampin' Up! The bodice of the dress is made with the Round Tab Punch. I added Basic Pearls to the neckline and the flower is made with the Itty Bitty Punches.

The fabric is cut with the Scallop Circle die and the belt is made with a scrap of seam binding ribbon.

Hope you like today's cute card. Back soon with some more.

Stacked Owls

Hello Everyone

When I saw some samples using the Aviary stamp set at a Stampin' Up! regional training, my favourite was a stack of little multi-coloured owls. This is my take on it using lilac and purple tones.

The card base is done in Concord Crush, I used the matching designer paper from the In Color stack. I cut the scallops with the Adorning Accents Edgelits. I also cut a scallop tag as a background using the Two Tags die.

The owls are stamped, (from top to bottom), in Concord Crush, Elegant Eggplant, Perfect Plum and Wisteria Wonder.

Love how cute this card looks - it makes me smile!

Wonderful Wisteria!

Hello Everyone

You may have noticed that I love Wisteria Wonder. Today I am sharing some cards using this fabulous In Color.

This first card features the Speciality Designer Paper, Sweet Shop - there is a texture to those white dots - hard to tell on the picture I know.

The images here come from Creative Elements and Everything Eleanor - two stamp sets that work SO well together. I heat embossed the flower with silver embossing powder to add some extra texture.

Something similar here - again I have used Creative Elements. This time I used the flower image as a background on the card base.

Now we come to my favourite of the trio - and this one has some extra bling. It took a little longer - I coloured in some of the backgound with a marker and added tiny pearls here and there. I also built up the flower by stamping three times and cutting and layering with dimensionals.

So do you agree? Or do you prefer one of the other choices?

Hello Everyone

A quick and easy card today made with one of the images from the Bordering on Romance stamp set. The images is stamped in Stazon ink and coloured using markers in Pool Party, Marina Mist, Lucky Limeade and Island Indigo.

The DSP is from the Twitterpated set and the greeting is from Petite Pairs. As you can see I have used the Framelits dies and the large and small oval punches.

Hope you like :)

Blossoms & Dolies

Hello Everyone

I have been playing with the combination of the Blossom Punch and the Delicate Doilies stamp set. Although not designed to go together, but they could have been! The first sample is done in Daffodil Delight, So Saffron and Calypso Coral. The sentiment comes from Curly Cute and is cut using the banner from the Petal Cone die.

Now this second one is my favourite. I punched blossom shape out of the card base, stamped the largest Delicate Doilie image on Whisper White and coloured it with my Wisteria Wonder marker.

Which one do you like best?

Strawberries for June

Hello Everyone

When June comes around I always think of strawberries. This is a project I actually made last June. I photographed it and ended up submitting it to Stampin' Up! for a competition at a regional training day. I was delighted to see it on display a few months later when I went to convention. In fact if you click the CONVENTION tag on the left you will see it there.

But I felt it was time for a close up and explanation...The basket is made with the Scallop Envelope die - you need to cut four. I made the basket weave with Crumb Cake cardstock and the Square Lattice Impressions Folder.

The strawberry is the Heart of Hearts die and the leaf is made with the 5 Petal Flower Punch. The flower is done with the Boho Blossoms Punch.

So - better late than never...I hope it was worth waiting for!

A little more recently I made a little gift for my friend Susie...this also featured strawberries....

LOL Back soon with more ideas for you.

Designer Paper Delight!

Hello Everyone

I just love the new Designer Series Papers that are in the new Summer Mini Catalogue from Stampin' Up! This is the the little show-&-tell book I take with me to workshops to show them off. They come in 12" X 12" (30cm square) sheets and are double sided, so perfect for all sorts of projects.

So today I am going to share two projects featuring papers from the Sweet Shop DSP pack....and also tell you how you can recieve a FREE pack of any Designer Series Paper during June.

The first uses the fabby cupcake paper which I loved using with the Crazy for Cupcakes stamp set which has been a long-time favourite of mine. I used a little swirl of Pool Party ink on the cake icing to help match the image on the paper.

Using paper from the same set, a completly different project, this time featuring the Sail Away a la carte stamp. As soon as a saw this paper I thought of waves on the sea...

I simply cut along the wave edge and stamped the yacht three time. I first stamped on the card, then on Whisper White and finally on Island Indigo cardstock. I cut out the sails and boat and stuck them on to the card image to make it pop.

The compass image comes from Open Sea, which is in the Summer Mini.

And now as promised....drum roll....here is the special offer from Stampin' Up! which runs throughout June...

When you buy any three packs of Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper, you can choose another one, valued at £9.95 absolutely FREE! It is the perfect time if you want to stock up on our beautiful papers. Look at all of those you can choose...

And if you would like to host a party during June or July we have another fabby offer for you. Should your party total reach £300 or more, you will even more hostess goodies than usual...here are some examples.

Now I know what you are thinking...my party will never reach £325 - but you know what? I have had more parties above £300 than below £300 in the last year - so why not book with me for a fun evening with your friends?
