Number of Years Birthday Card from Leigh

I didn't make this one! But I loved it so much I just had to share. I celebrated a rather big birthday this year and my lovely team took me out for cream tea and bubbly and showered me with prettiness - including this lovely card from Leigh Shaw.

The detail is hardly done justice by the photograph, but zoomed in here you can see she has used Timeless Textures, sponged inks and White Craft Ink to create this beautiful card. Thank you Leigh - I love it!

Wetland meets Timeless Textures

Hello and welcome to Elizabeth's Craft Room

Today's card uses two of my favourite go-to stamp sets. One newish, one has been around for a while.

Wetlands is the one that uses the reflecting birds, the greeting and the grasses, but it works so well with Timeless Textures, which provided the marshy green and waterline.

I simply stamped in Soft Sky, Old Olive and Soft Suede and sponged in Soft Suede ink to achieve the effect.

Tea and more….

As promised today I am sharing a couple more projects made with the Cups and Kettle Framelits.

These dies are so versatile and work so well with lots of stamps I already have in my craft room - and indeed with Timeless Textures from the new catalogue, which is rarely off my stamp desk at the moment!

These first ones are little mini cards used as table place names. I just adore the little cutlery dies - I could never hand cut those. The little squares of DSP are 2"x2" and folded to make napkins.

This card features the Cups and Kettle Framelits again along with words from Something to Say and Timeless Textures for the spots and 'table top' bit.

As soon as I saw the Cups & Kettle Bigshot dies on page 34 of the Spring Summer Stampin' Up! catalogue - I knew I had to have them - and wow have they been fun to use!

Timeless Textures Birthday

Today's card is a real mixture of goodies. I have stamped with Timeless Textures - a stamp set you will be seeing me use a LOT over the next few months!

I added some Washi Tape from a set called It's My Party, which coordinate with the Designer paper and Enamel dots of the same name (I used some dots on top of the washi). I also tied a bow using the bakers twine - this comes in a duo pack in Mint Macaroon and Melon Mambo and you get over 45 meters for £6.00!

The greeting comes from a stamp set called Party Wishes. Inside I used a die from the Party Pop Ups set - and there is more that can me done with that one….coming soon! But to get a bit of pop-up going on I used two of the Honeycomb Embellishments inside - they fold flat when the card is closed.
