Sounds of the Season and Gold Hoop Card

Ornamental Envelopes - but as cards!

Today I am sharing a project made with the Ornamental Envelopes stamp set. You can see them on page 40 of the mini catalogue and they are just £16. 

Those aren't envelopes, I hear you cry! You are right - there are co-ordinating dies designed to decorate your Stampin' Up! envelopes - but these projects show the stamps work beautifully on cards too.

Have a Hoot and Little Treats gift holder

It's Make It Monday here at Elizabeth's Craft Room.

Today I am sharing a little bag that my lovely class ladies are making in our by post class this month. Lots of them have the owl stamps - and of course you could choose another image.

This is made using the Little Treats dies from Stampin' Up! and seems to have been a popular project.

Autumn or Fall Card with Comfort and Hope from Stampin' Up!

Welcome to Monday Makes from Elizabeth's Craft Room

This seasonal wreath card is made using the Comfort and Hope stamp set. I used Autumnal colours of Cinnamon Cider, Crumb Cake and Bumblebee.

I also coloured the Metallic Mesh Ribbon with a brayer to make it co-ordinate.

Everygreen Forest and In the Woods Christmas Card

Jar of Flowers - not just for flowers!

Hello and welcome to Elizabeth's Craft Room ,

I had so much fun using the Jar Punch and Jar of Flowers stamps to make this fun card and prove that jars aren't just for flowers!

I used the In Good Taste Designer paper, stamped with Stazon on Brass Foil for the lid and added a greeting using the Monogram Messages stamp set.

Nothing's Better Than...Cocktails!

Hello and welcome to Elizabeth's Craft Room ,

This card is made using the super fun Nothing's Better Than.. stamp set from Stampin' Up! In this case nothing is better than this cocktail.

I used Stampin' Write Markers to create the layered cocktail. This is called the Marker to Stamp technique and is an easy way to add multiple colours to one stamps.

Posted For You Card

Hello and welcome to Elizabeth's Craft Room ,

One of my absolutely favourite stamp sets in the new catalogue is Posted for You - and BONUS it is available in a 10% off bundle with the co-ordinating Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch.

Here I used one of the stamps to make my own background with repeat stamping and coloured in the love stamp using Magenta Madness and Just Jade Blends.

Basket of Blooms Card

Hello and welcome to Elizabeth's Craft Room ,

Today's project features the Basket of Blooms stamp set and matching punch. It was such fun to make and being able to punch out the flowers makes stamping and cutting multiple blooms quick and easy.

I combined the basket and flowers with designer paper from the In Good Taste 12X12" set and this fun Bumblebee gingham ribbon to co-ordinate with the card base.

Introducing our NEW Water Painters

Hello and welcome to Elizabeth's Craft Room ,

Introducing our new Water Painters. Theses are such fun brushes to use. The water is stored safely inside - so no chance of tipping over a jar of water on your project!

They come in a trio with a fine and medium brush plus a flat tip to get wide swooshes of colour and other effects.

I had a play with them to show my lovely online class ladies and came up with this emboss-resist technique card.

I stamped using the Beautiful World stamps in Versamark, added clear embossing powder and heat embossed. I then painted over with inks.

Comfort & Hope Wreath Card

Hello and welcome to Elizabeth's Craft Room ,

Today's project features the Comfort & Hope stamps and the Forever Fern bundle from Stampin' Up! I stamped the wreath image using Early Espresso Ink and added stamped leaves from Forever Fern. I used the matching dies to cut leaves using yardstick and vellum and finished with ribbon and a birthday greeting. This was such a fun card to make.

Jar of Flowers Cards

I like the effect I created by outlining the bouquet of sunflowers with a Pool Party Stampin' Blend - do you like that look, or do you prefer the clean finish of the project on the right?

Lovely Labels Pick a Punch

Hello and welcome to Elizabeth's Craft Room ,

Now I usually love a triple punch - we have had a few - but this is a double triple! Yes here we have 6 punches in one ideal for greeting and sentiments.

The pieces can be layered in doubles or triples or used alone and there is no maximum length. They produce decorative strips 1/2"  3/4" and 1" width in two styles

Update and Happy Star Wars Day

Hello and welcome to Elizabeth's Craft Room ,

Just a quick update from Elizabeth's Craft Room and a fun project for you today. I hope you and your loved ones are all safe and well.

Well I last taught a face to face class with my lovely ladies on Thursday 12th March - so we are many weeks apart. I apologies that I have not been very active on this blog during that time.

Pretty much all of my ladies are locked down and many of them live alone so I have bee been working really hard on a private group for my class ladies with daily projects and classes by post. It has been a huge learning curve for us all and a positive experience keeping our little community together but I am feeling guilty for not sharing here enough. So going forward I will try to pop on some more posts.

Starting with today - May the 4th - which some of you may know is the unofficial Star Wars Day - as in may the force (4th) be with you!

So here is a fun punch art card made with our Layering Circle Dies, Circle Punches, Chalk Marker and stars from the Stitched Stars dies. I hope you like my little BB8

Do you love the Timeless Tulips from the new Stampin' Up! catalogue? I LOVE them and having been recently reminded of this fun technique - I couldn't wait to share it with my class ladies - and of course with you!
