What will I do as a demonstrator?
You will share your love of paper crafting, creating cards, gifts or scrapbook pages with family and friends. You can do this through running in home workshops, classes, events or even on a 1 on 1 basis. If you choose to, you will also help others enjoy the fun and flexibility of running their own Stampin’ Up! business.
Will I receive support and training as a demonstrator?
Absolutely! I will provide you with all the help, training and support you need – with me you have help but never hassle! You decide how much time you want to spend, when you want to stamp or do a workshop or classes; whether you want to come along to training events or even the Stampin’ Up! convention. It is your choice – and I am here to help.
In addition, Stampin’ Up! provides the following:
1. A password protected demonstrator website which has lots of resources, pattern and template libraries and online ordering.
2. A full colour monthly magazine called Impressions with creative and business ideas just for demonstrators.
3. A free phone number to contact the knowledgeable and friendly Demonstrator Support team.
4. An achievable incentive program for income and awards if you choose to aspire to them.
How will I make money as a demonstrator?
Since customers pay you directly, you will keep 20% of each order placed at the time of payment, this is called instant income. You can earn additional money through volume rebates when your monthly sales are £200 and above. If you build a team, you can also earn monthly downline overrides as well.
Do people really make money at this?
YES!! Depending on how much time you want to put into “your” business, you can make whatever income you desire! It is totally up to you!
Do I have to recruit other demonstrators?
Not at all. Having a downline is not a requirement, it is a perk - we have the opportunity to earn a commission based on our downline’s sales as well as the fun of sharing our passion with a team! However it is also a responsibility you will need to support your team and give them training to help them achieve their goals.
What are the minimum sales requirements?
To stay active as a demonstrator you will need to sell a minimum of £225 per quarter. Most demonstrators find that this goal can be reached in one or two workshops per quarter – or with their own purchases.
What if I only want to do this as a hobby? Do I still have to do workshops?
Absolutely not! Both Stampin’ Up! and I will support all demonstrators in the same way regardless of how big or small their business is you only need to do workshops if you want too. You can put in your own orders or collect orders from family & friends.
Do I have to hold stocks of product?
No. You will only order items when someone places an order and pays you in advance, so you won’t need to keep stock of products. This means there is no risk – you cannot lose money on unsold stock.
How much does it cost to get started?
The Starter Kit is only £119 for more than £250 worth of products – honestly the best deal in the catalogue! This kit is customizable (choose your own stamp sets at equivalent or lesser value and you may change ink and card stock colours). It includes everything you will need to get your business up and running including stamps and accessories as well as business supplies.
What if I decide it’s not for me once I’ve started? Will I be penalised if I quit?
Not at all. You simply stop placing orders. If you don’t meet the minimum quarterly requirement, Stampin’ Up! will just “drop” you—no penalties, no questions asked! Well apart from me…….. I’ll check to make sure you are okay and ask if I can help, but if you’ve decided to finish that’s fine. But I guarantee that once you start you won’t want to stop!
What kind of incentives will I receive as a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator?
• As a new demonstrator, you will have the opportunity to earn free stamp sets during your first 6 months for your sales and recruiting. You can also earn a cash bonus equal to the total price you paid for your starter kit! :)
• You receive 30% instant income on your first workshop order of £150 or more, if you place it within 45 days of signing up.
• The ability to be your own “hostess” and earn low price hostess sets and any other catalogue products on your own personal orders.
• You can work to achieve the annual incentive trip, the current trip is an all expenses trip to Vienna, and Stampin’ Up! gives you five ways to earn it through sales and promotions of your team, it is achievable!

You will also have my help and support, I offer to help run the first workshop for all my new team members. I can also help you with project and class ideas.
