Frosted Gingerbread Christmas Card

Hello and welcome to Elizabeth's Craft Room 

Here is our next card from this months class. I loved making this one using the Frosted Gingerbread bundle.

My tip is to use the adhesive sheets when die cutting the detailed bell pieces which made it easy to assemble. If you would like to come to class next month - do let me know!

Mini Prosecco Bottle Gift Box

Hello and welcome to Elizabeth's Craft Room 

This was one of our fun projects that we made at class this month, using the fabulous Gingerbread & Peppermint goodies from Stampin' Up!

It is a mini Prosecco bottle (or wine bottle) gift box, inspired by a design made by my lovely friend Tracy McDonnell.

My lovely ladies enjoyed making this one and they all looked super pretty with the different designer paper from the set. We are making a co-ordinating card at class next month to make the set complete.

Gingerbread & Peppermint Sampler

Hello and welcome to Elizabeth's Craft Room 

Have you seen the fabulous Gingerbread and Peppermint Suite from Stampin' Up! ? We used some of these goodies in class this month to make a mini Prosecco bottle gift box. Kraft Gift Box with Gorgeous Leaves

Hello and welcome to Elizabeth's Craft Room 

I thought I would share another autumnal project that we made in class this month. We decorated one of the Kraft Gift Boxes from Stampin' Up! using the Gorgeous Leaves bundle. These stamps and dies are perfect for the season. What would you put inside this gift box?

The Faux Tear Technique

Hello and welcome to Elizabeth's Craft Room 

This was one of the projects we made at class this month - we used the Blending Brushes to create the faux tear effect - they are so easy to use. 

The white layer was made using the Scalloped Contour dies and gives such a pretty finish. Do you have the blending brushes? How do you think they compare to using sponges or daubers or brayers?

Classes Are Back!

Hello and welcome to Elizabeth's Craft Room 

Well woo hoo! I am so excited that my in person Elizabeth's Craft Room Card Making Classes are back! 

We have a fabulous new venue in the President's Suite Romsey Golf Club in Rownhams, Southampton. 

I am currently running both monthly and special classes which cost just £15 for a two hour class.

Give it a Whirl from Stampin' Up!

They don't look too exciting - but wait until you try them! It makes creating a rotating reveal card SO easy.

Floral Squares Dies

Hello and welcome to Elizabeth's Craft Room ,

These are some of the projects I shared with my lovely class ladies this morning. They are made using the Floral Squares dies from Stampin' Up!

These can be used with co-ordinating stamps, but they are also fabulous if you just use the dies as I have in these examples.

You can see where I showed how to use the cut out pieces as a mask with Blending Brushes - I love that effect!

Kits from Stampin' Up!

Today on the Facebook live for my class ladies we did two un-boxings! We looked at two of the fabulous new kits from Stampin' Up! These are great as a gift as they include everything you need to make all the projects. They are also perfect for travelling (remember that?!) and for rainy days with the grandchildren.

Flowering Cactus Cards

Hello and welcome to Elizabeth's Craft Room ,

These fun project were made using the Flowering Cactus Kit. Kits are a great way to enjoy crafting with minimum fuss. You can find this one on page 9 of the mini catalogue.

Some were made with some die cuts - but most are made with just the refill kit.

Easter Bunny Punch Art using Stampin' Up! punches and dies

Hello and welcome to Elizabeth's Craft Room ,

I did a punch art project for my lovely ladies today....isn't he sweet? We used the Double Oval Punch, Layering Circles dies and the Heart Punch Pack to make this bunny. Would you have his tail on the front and his face inside or vice versa?

Springtime Joy - with three fun cards

    Hello and welcome to Elizabeth's Craft Room ,

Today I am sharing three projects made using the Springtime Joy stamp set from the Stampin' Up! mini catalogue (page 22).

These fun Easter and Spring stamps are so easy to use. I coloured using Stampin' Blends - did some fussy cutting to create layering and also used my Blending Brushes - because I can't stop using them! Which one is your favourite? Love Liz X
