Simply Wisteria

Hello Everyone

Today I have a quick card made using the beautiful hostess stamp set Simply Soft. This is such a pretty stamp set and works so well for a quick card like this one...

The base card is Wisteria Wonder, layered over Lucky Limede with matching Limeade ruffled ribbon.

Something Special

Hello Everyone

It was earlier this year that some of my lovely ladies came to my Something Special class. We used the wonderful Speciality Designer Paper, Mocha Morning, to make some lovely 3D projects and cards....

We made a Butterfly Card and matching tag, (stamps for all cards from Creative Elements & Sincere Salutations),

We made a Flower Card and matching tag...

We made a Flourish Card and matching tag...

We made a box that held a jewellery charm...

We made a little Top Note Die handbag....

....and we made a little set of drawers using the Scallop Squre Die.

If you love this fabulous designer paper as much as me, order some soon while you can, as we expect it to retire when the next catalogue comes out. :)

Growing Green Three Ways

Hello Everyone

Three cards today, all made with the Growing Green stamp set - I seem to have been doing a lot with flowers recently.

This one is watercoloured and finished with tiny seed pearls.

The next one I did as a make and take a while ago. The hardware and designer paper is now retired, but it was a fun way to use it up!

Finally here is a different colourway. I did it in Wild Wasabi and accessories with Lucky Limeade Bakers twine.

I hope you have enjoyed these projects - I love the different looks you can get with just one stamp set.

A Tropical Wedding

Hello Everyone

A while ago a friend of mine asked me to come up with some designs for her wedding. She wanted a tropical theme as she is getting married in the tropical sunshine.

First I came up with a bright card which reminded me of a tropical boquet my DH once ordered for me while we were in Florida. I showed an example with my own wedding details on it, printed on to Vellum cardstock from Stampin' Up! The stamp set I used was Greenhouse Garden.

The second design was much more subtle and used the Growing Green stamp set, plus the stem stamp from Cottage Garden. I watercoloured each flower, and layered some using pearls. I added a spray of Champagne Shimmer Paint for some subtle glimmer.

Here is the inside of the card....

Finally I made a little matching favour box...

Hope you like what I created.

Cheerful Treat

Hello Everyone

Today I am sharing several projects that feature our Cheerful Treat Designer Series Paper. This paper is exclusively available to our hostesses - but if you want it you need to be quick with your workshop booking - it will retire before our new catalogue comes out!

This bag is made simply with two pieces of 12X12" Whisper White cardstock, scored at 3" on three sides and pinched together at the top. I made faux eyelets with a 3/4" circle punch and the crop a dile. I think the white and Melon Mambo trim really set off this fabby paper.

I used the Party This Way stamp set with the next card. The greeting is layered on to a scalloped circle cut using the Perfect Pennants die. The little pennant at the bottom comes from the Pennant Parade Stamp Set.

My final project today uses more of the Pennant Parade stamps and the Petite Pennant Punch. I used Basic Rhinestones to add some bling.

So if you want to get your hands on this pretty paper - better get your workshop or virtual workshop booked! :)

Ornate Bloom

Hello Everyone

Today I am sharing a card we did AGES ago at a class. I just realised I hadn't shared it. This card uses the Ornate Bloom stamp. While we were using it my ladies came up with loads of things it could be used to create including a fir cone, (the middle bit), and an angel - (imagine it upside-down!)

We added

We finished the card with Basic Rhinestones, and some ribbon layered over cardstock punched with the Eyelet Border Punch.

Hello Everyone

Greenhouse Garden is one of my long-time favourites. Here are two cards I have made using this set. The first was done as a workshop demonstration. Here I stamped the flowers in Baja Breeze and stamped over in Not Quite Navy.

The butterflies are cut using the Beautiful Butterflies Embosslit die. The background is created with the Very Vintage Jumbo Wheel and the ribbon is Baja Breeze Seam Binding.

My second card is in a brighter colour way - Wisteria Wonder and Concord Crush - a lovely combination - and it is not long until Concord Crush is retiring - I will SO miss it.

I used the Framelits die to create the white front to card and used the butterfly from Nature Walk to add some impact. The greeting comes from Party This Way.

I hope you have enjoyed your walk around my Greenhouse Garden :)

Faith In Nature

Hello Everyone

Today I am sharing a card I made much earlier this year when my downlineTracey was under the weather. I knew she must be properly poorly because until then I had NEVER known her to be ill.

So a card was in order and this is the one I made. It features the pear stamp from Faith in Nature. I watercoloured in soft colours to match the designer paper.

The greeting comes from Teeny Tiny Wishes - my most used greeting set. I have layered the Word Window, Large Oval and Modern Label punch to make the greeting pop.

I am glad to say that in no time at all Tracey was up and crafting!
