Pillow Box Basket

Hello Everyone

This basket is made using two and a half pillow boxes! I cut three pillow boxes using Naturals Ivory cardstock.  I scored across each box just above the closure and folded to form the base of the basket. After removing one half of a pillow box, I then joined the two and a half remaining ones together. I love the crown effect you get and decided I had to finish it by adding a crown top with cardstock and ribbon.

I used the Clearly For You stamp set to decorate my little basket in Wisteria Wonder and Concord Crush ink.

This project was a bit of a faff to make, but I was pleased with it when it was done.

Everything Eleanor 3 of 3

Hello Everyone

Well IMO I saved the best 'till last. I LOVE this card. My favourite colors of Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake and Vanilla are on show along with a little subtle bling with the use of daubed Champagne Shimmer Paint on the flower.

As well as Everything Eleanor, I used the Petite Pairs stamp set for my greeting here.

I really like the fancy fold effect on this card...I used the Curly Cute stamp set for the inside greeting.

I hope you have enjoyed my Everything Eleanor creations. Do let me know which is your favourite.

Everything Eleanor 2 of 3

Hello Everyone

This is the second of my Everything Eleanor offerings. The shimmer on this card is created using Frost White Shimmer Paint, daubed gently on to the cardstock after dry embossing with the Elegant Boquet folder.

Once again my Basic Pearls were in evidence - thank goodness you get so many in a pack. I just love the effect of this card.

Back soon with my favourite Everything Eleanor design....

Everything Eleanor 1 of 3

Hello Everyone

Over my next three posts, I will be featuring three very different cards made with the Everything Eleanor stamp set. This set is one of the favourites of my Stampin' Up! upline Amanda - and now it is one of mine!

This design is one of hers - we made it at team training.

I love the bright colours and I added a few pearls when I got home, (honestly Amanda - I didn't use up all your pearls! LOL)

We cut the little butterflies using the Beautiful Wings Embosslits die.

The greeting is from a set called Curvy Verses and the card is finished with white taffeta ribbon. I will be back soon with the second card in this series.

Fabulous Friend Gift Box

Hello Everyone

Today I am sharing a pretty gift box that I have been demonstrating at some of my recent workshops. It is so easy to make with our new Simply Scored tool - and the whole box only uses one piece of A4 card.

I used the Petite Petals wheel to create a Crumb Cake ink background on Pool Party cardstock. After folding the box, I created a border for the flap using the Scallop Trim Border Punch. With a strip of Island Indigo card I repeated the border to create a double edge effect.

The tags are one of those items easily missed from the Stampin' Up! catalogue, but are really sweet for this sort of project. I stamped and attached a flower to match the greeting. The greeting itself comes from the Oval All stamp set, which co-ordinates perfectly with our Large Oval and Scallop Oval punches.

I coloured the flowers with Pool Party, Lucky Limeade and Island Indigo markers and finished the project with Island Indigo ribbon.

I hope you like it. :)

Growing Green Two Ways

Hello Everyone

Today I am sharing two cards made with the Growing Green stamp set. This is an outline set allowing you to colour in or leave a very simple outline effect.

I have used a co-ordinating designer paper, (retired now), on this card and also included a single a la carte stamp called All a Flutter.

The second card I made quite recently. Here I used an Aqua Painter and ink to paint the leaves. For the rose I used two pieces of watercolour paper from Stampin' Up! Once again I painted using the Aqua Painter. I cut out the centre of one of the roses and layered up with a dimensional to make the rose pop.

I hope you like today's cards.

Pennant Birthday Card

Hello Everyone

Today I am sharing a birthday card made using the stunning Hostess Set designer paper called Cheerful Treat. I used the Petite Pennants Builder Punch to create the bright paper banner. The mini silver brads connect the pennants.

I used the Scallop Border Punch to create the bottom border and the greeting is from the stamp set Perfect Punches.

I think this makes a very pretty birthday card. Back soon with more projects.

Flight of the Butterfly with Bakers Twine

Hello Everyone

Just a quick and easy card today made with one of the first stamp sets I ever bought - Flight of the Butterfly. Here I just stamped the butterfly outline 10 times on a mixture of Subtles designer papers and Vellum Cardstock, then I punched them out using the butterfly punch.

Placing the butterflies in matching pairs, I tied them together with Cameo Coral Bakers Twine before glueing the bottom butterfly on to the card.

I love the greeting trails that come with this stamp set.

Hope you like today's simple card.
