Join me for an Enchanted Evening

Hello Everyone

From time to time I do special classes - usually at a weekend. But some of my lovely ladies cannot come on a Saturday, so I decided to offer a special class in the evening.

I wanted to create some pretty 3D projects, and there were a number of special requests for particular projects - so I came up with my Enchanted Evening class.

This class includes half a pack of the beautiful Twitterpated Designer Series Paper – there will be plenty for you to take home to make more goodies. This is what we will create….
A Tea for Two gift back
A Pretty Notebook
A 'takeout style' Gift Box
A Stamped Candle and Winchow Gift Box
A Beautiful Gift Bag with faux buttons

If you would like to come along during July, contact me for details. I hope you can join us.

Blossom Punch Flower

Hello Everyone

As promised something else from the new Summer Mini Catalogue from Stampin' Up! This card features our newest punch the Blossom Punch. Now even if, like me, you think you don't need another flower punch - I bet you change your mind as you start to try it. It certainly won me over. Of course Stampin' Up! do offer a matching stamp set, but here I have just used the Greenhouse Garden stamp and doesn't it work well? I finished the flower with a few little Basic Pearls.

The leaves were stamped with the French Foliage stamp set using the rock n roll technique. Love it!

Customer Thank You Party

Hello Everyone

Without my lovely customers, so many of whom have become my friends, I couldn't be a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. So every year I invite them along to say Thank You properly with a big party. Here are some of my lovely ladies doing their make and takes....

As usual I had lots of projects on display - many from the new Summer Mini Catalogue from Stampin' Up! This was the second outing for my display - I helped out my lovely upline Amanda at a recent team event - see if you can spot the difference in the following photos...

Some close ups of the 3D items.....

We ate cake, (my famous Key Lime Pie was popular as usual)......

I demonstrated some new goodies......and there were make and takes.....

my raffle and my lovely sisiter helped out with the manic retired stamp sale.

Thank you to all who came - I hope you enjoyed the day.

Keep it Simple

Hello Everyone

As you may have seen on a previous post, I went a bit complex with our 3D class project this month (LOL), so I had to keep it fairly simple for our other two cards.

The first one features the Everything Eleanor stamp set...simple but effective. The greeting is from Curly Cute.

Our technique card was also a simple one, using white craft ink to get a 3D effect. The stamp set used is one of my favourites, French Foliage...

Once again a quick and easy card that still has a great impact....and my ladies didn't have to stay all night to finish! LOL

More from the Spring Mini Catalogue coming up soon...

Flower Crate Gift Box

Hello Everyone

Today I am sharing one of the projects we are making at class this month. As you can imagine it is quite a complex project to teach, but when I made it, I couldn't resist sharing it with my lovely ladies.

I had seen a similar decorative creation online, but decided I wanted to create it as a gift box, with a lid covered with flowers. You can see the box with the lid off in the following photograph...

We used the woodgrain background stamp, a miriad of punches and dies to make the flowers, the bird and 5 petal flower punch for the leaves and lots of dimensionals to pop the 'planks' up on the internal box.

With such a detailed project for our first item, our other cards are nice and simple this month. Back soon to show you them.

Bordering On Romance

Hello Everyone

Today's project uses the Beautiful Bordering on Romance stamp set from the new Summer Mini Catalogue from Stampin' Up! I love the fact that this stamp set co-ordinates perfectly with the Adorning Accents Edgelits dies and Embossing Folders. Here I have used one of the dies on the right to create the stylish edge shape and stamped with the matching dotted stamp.

The flowers in this stamp set can be coloured in so many ways. Here I have used markers and highlighted with a white gel pen.

The greeting comes from the Apothecary Art stamp set - also in the Summer Mini Catalogue.

Here is another example using this stamp set...sorry picture is a little blurred..

Back soon with more projects.

Time for Tea

Hello Everyone

Tea Shoppe is one of the most beautiful stamp sets in the new Summer Mini Catalogue from Stampin' Up! Perfect for us British tea drinkers, it has some lovely stamps and greetings in the set. This card uses both the Tea Shoppe stamp set and the new Framelets to create the fancy layered frame.

Hope you like this card - back with more soon.

Life on the Ocean Wave

Hello Everyone

More from the new Summer Mini Catalogue from Stampin' Up! today. I was so happy to get the stamp set called The Open Sea that I have used in this project. It is perfect for a man card and also lovely for creating a distressed look like the one below.

All the images are from the stamp set and the greeting is from Party this Way and the scrap of DSP is from First Edition Speciality Designer Paper.

Do you see the scoring down one side and along the bottom - this is done with another new and fabby tool called Simply Scored. More about that coming soon.
