Sale a Bration in Neutrals

Hello Everyone

Today I am sharing a whole slew of cards made using the Sprinked Expressions stamp set, Perfect Postage stamp set and the matching Postage Stamp punch. The only other things used here are a set of 5 In Color Markers, a pack of Neutrals cardstock and some dimensionals. You could buy all of these for £46.45 and make dozens of projects with these supplies. So coming up are just a few ideas...

Butterfly Box

Hello Everyone

Another February class project today. We made a cute little gift box with a butterfly on top. The beautiful designer series paper that makes the lid is Everyday Enchantment which is one of the choices that you can recieve for FREE with a qualifying order during Sale A Bration. (Let me know if you would like some!)

The stamping is all done using the Creative Elements stamp set - I just LOVE these stamps.
I did the butterfly using the marker to stamp technique - and do you notice the Postage Stamp punch under the butterfly.

Spice Cake Creations

Hello Everyone

Today I am sharing two projects I made using the Spice Cake suite of products. I have been loving these scrummy colours and this is one of the ideas I came up with using the huge buttons that co-ordinate with the Spice Cake paper.

This is the box I made - you can see on this slight blurry picture the big button belly band and an Antique Brad and Victoria Crochet trim closure.

Open up the box and there are four napkin rings inside...

I threaded the narrow Taffeta Ribbon through the holes in different ways and used cardstock and Spice Cake papers to create the rings.

My next project features the Spice Cake fabric. I have been using a little bucket from Ikea to hold my clear mount blocks during classes. I decided to decorate it.

There is actually no sewing at all for this project LOL! I simply attached the fabric with Sticky Strip.

I hope I have inspired you with the Spice Cake suite. Enjoy creating. :)

Take your pick...

Hello Everyone

During February, I offered a choice of card, but both featured the Sprinkled Expressions stamps, Confetti background stamps, Embosslits - heart or flower, Two Tags die and large scallop circle punch.

I love the way the confetti stamps work so well with the hearts and flowers on Sprinked Expressions and the colour combination is Naturals Ivory and Cherry Cobbler.

We finished with the spotty Cherry Cobbler ribbon and three little hearts or flowers in the very sparkly red Glimmer Paper. We made matching envelopes and also stamped on the inside...

So which card would you have chosen to make?

Hearts Three!

Hello Everyone

My final heart project is a hanging box, rather than a pocket. You could make these as deep as you like, but I just did a narrow version here.

The handle is made with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon border punch and the Vanilla embellishments are cut using the Perfect Pennants die. The tag is made with three hearts, made with the Small and Large Heart punches and the Scalloped Heart of Hearts die finished with a Basic Pearl.

I used the Red Glimmer Paper to add some bling and the Sprinkled Expressions heart.

Hope you like it...

Hearts Two!

Hello Everyone

My second heart project is made in just the same was as my previous project, but here I used the fabby Spice Cake DSP and one of the giant buttons from the mini catalogue. (This is my favourite heart!)

As you can see from the photo below I have created a pocket again using the Petal Cone die. I used the new Large Scallop Circle punch along with all the die elements to embellish this project.

I really enjoyed creating this project, in the close up you can see lots of daubing, one of the giant buttons from the spice cake suite, antique brads, along with velvet ribbon and Victoria crochet trim.

Hope you like my Spice Cake heart.

I 'HEART' You

Hello Everyone

I thought I would share a little Valentine's project today. I demonstrated this project for my fellow demo's at a recent training event and have also been sharing it at workshops, so if you have one booked, you will see how to make this soon...

As you can see it is a little pocket made with the fabby Petal Cone die. I have used the Sprinkled Expressions heart on the front and the sentiment and little hearts too. I also used the new large Scallop Circle punch - it is certainly a favourite in Elizabeth's Craft Room! LOL

The handle is made with the soft Vanilla Velvet ribbon which is in the mini catalogue.

The picture above also shows a single version of the pocket idea using another of the Sprinkled Expressions stamps. You could fill it with something sweet for your sweetheart. :)

More hearts coming your way soon....

Sponged Clouds

Hello Everyone

Just a step away from all the excitement of the new Mini Catalogue and Sale-a-bration today - with a card I taught at our January classes.

This cards uses a handy technique to create clouds using three punched scallop circles. We stuck them together using tombow and then sponged over the top using them as a mask to create the clouds.

Having created the clouds, we stamped grasses from Pocket Silhouettes in Wild Wasabi and flowers and butterflies from Cottage Garden. Then we put die cut butterflies, (made using the Beautiful Butterflies embossing folder), over the stamped butterflies (you can see what I mean in this close up....)

Back soon with some more projects from the new Mini Catalogue. :)
